About Ice Cube
Ice Cube was raised in South Central Los Angeles, where he was one of the most influential gangsta rappers. Ice Cube was less confident in his own rap lyric writing, and so had his cousin, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, ghost write for him. His rapping technique was nevertheless never in doubt, and the 1987 mixtape of Ice Cube and Dr. Dre called My Posse, less to the founding of the highly influential gangsta rap group NWA.
